Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being initially attracted by the shadows on trees she observed in the grass, she set about exploring a process that does not present the object as a two-dimensional image on canvas. Rather the subject is transformed into a reproduction of itself in which the painting transforms into the medium for it's individual interpretation of the subject, particularly when the subject is alive or perishable, such as people or fruits. Her ephemeral art style is apparent and what survives of Alexa Meade's works is a photographs. As the photographic and painting techniques are coordinated so closely and result in a trompe l'oeil effect, where the illusion of 3D is only visible at certain locations, like the area around the eyes and the hair. Occasionally, Meade integrates her painted models into the 3D world around them, allowing them to interact within the self-created universe. Thereby repealing the boundaries between photography, painting installation and performance.
