Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous awards. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her family background as a member of the New York family of artists. While working as a photographer's assistant She turned her focus to acting and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
